Preparing to Clean Micro fibre Cleaning Cloth & Micro fibre Towel

Preparing to Clean Micro fibre Cleaning Cloth & Micro fibre Towel

1.Wash micro fibre cleaning cloth every 4-5 uses. Repeated washing will wear down the micro fibre; the micro fibre cloths will last longer if you don’t wash them after every use. After dusting, take the microfibre cloth outside and shake it vigorously for 2-3 minutes.

This will help to remove the dust. Next, rinse the cloth under cold water. Wring the microfiber cloth out and repeat as necessary.
Let the dust cloth air dry. Hang it on a clothesline, lay it flat on a drying rack, or drape it over a sink or bucket.

2.Wash microfiber cloth used in the kitchen or bathroom after every use. Microfiber used to clean greasy messes should also be laundered after every use.

3.Wash micro fiber cleaning cloth used to polish mirrors or glass after every other use. Rinse the cloth under running water for 1-2 minutes. Then wring the microfiber cloth and allow to air dry using the same method as for dust cloths.

4.Pretreat the micro fibre towel with vinegar to target foul-smelling stains.If the microfiber is stained, spraying it with vinegar will help to remove the spot. Vinegar is particularly useful for stains that smell bad as it is a natural deodorizer.

Pour white vinegar into a spray bottle. Spray the affected area with the vinegar and allow the cloth to sit for 5-10 minutes. Don’t saturate the cloth but make sure the stained area is damp. After the vinegar has had time to soak in, launder the microfiber as usual.

5.Soak with baking soda if the entire cloth has an unpleasant smell. Baking soda is another natural deodorizer, and if the whole cloth smells foul, a presoak will remove the odor. If you used the cloth to clean a particularly unpleasant mess, or if you have microfiber towels that smell of sweat, presoak them in water mixed with baking soda.

6.Use rubbing alcohol to remove greasy stains. Fill a squirt bottle with rubbing alcohol and spray it onto the greasy stain. Let it sit for about 1 minute, the wipe the alcohol away. Repeat as necessary. Then wash the microfibre cloth as usual.

If you are worried about discoloring your microfiber cloth, wipe a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to an inconspicuous area to test for colorfastness.Add 1⁄4 cup (59 mL) baking soda to 1 gallon (3.8 L) of warm water. Soak the cloth for 30 minutes before laundering. If the odor is very strong, let the cloth soak overnight and launder the next day.
